MBWP Workshop Payment, Refund, and Participation Policies

Payment Method
Payments for MBWP events are processed using PayPal, which accepts debit as well as most major credit cards.

Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $75 is due at registration. This deposit will be applied toward the full cost of tuition. Any remaining workshop tuition is due at least 45 days prior to the event. In the event that we must cancel a workshop, we will refund you 100% of tuition costs (see below).

Cancellation and Refund Policy
MBWP does not offer discounts or refunds for late arrivals or early departures, personal emergencies, flight delays or cancellations, weather-related emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend purchasing travel protection insurance through a qualified agent in order to mitigate these costs. In the event that MBWP cancels a workshop, you will receive a 100% refund on all tuition funds received to date. We cannot, however, reimburse you for any other costs (e.g. airfare, travel costs, travel insurance, room and board, etc.) incurred in preparation for our workshops. Please note that there will be no exceptions made to this policy.

Refunds for Cancellations
The $75 workshop deposit is only refundable in the event we cancel the event. Otherwise, this deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations received prior to workshop events will be refunded at the following rates:

• 60 days or more prior to the event, full refund minus deposit
• 30-59 days prior to the event, full refund minus $100 cancellation fee and deposit
• 0-29 days prior to the event, no refund

Photo and Video Release
I understand that participation in this workshop grants MBWP permission to use and/or take photographs or videos of me for the purposes of growing awareness around mindfulness in arts and education. Videos and/or photos may be used by MBWP for promotional and training materials and other media which may be electronically displayed via the internet, in educational settings, or other public facing outlets. I certify that I am at least 18 years old. I release and discharge MBWP, its employees, and other agents from any and all claims, causes of action, liabilities and damages based upon or arising out of any use of my name, voice, image likeness, or appearance in accordance with this release, including without limitation, any and all claims that I have or may have for defamation, invasion of privacy or violation of the right of publicity or notoriety.

Registration for any MBWP workshop or events constitutes agreement to this policy.
